Bassett High School standout Hunter Whitlow’s college team won in NCAA Division III baseball game on Friday, May 2

On Friday, May 2, former Bassett High School standout Hunter Whitlow’s current college team, the Averett Cougars, won 10-5 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Bridgewater Eagles.

The game took place at Bridgewater Baseball Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, May 3 at 2 p.m. at Bridgewater Baseball Field against Bridgewater Eagles.
