On Saturday, March 29, former Halifax County High School standout Colin Mabe’s current college team, the Hampden-Sydney Tigers, lost 13-7 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Shenandoah Hornets.
The game took place at Jim Barnett Park. This was their second matchup against the Hornets this season.
The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 7 p.m. at Ty Cobb Ballpark – Wurdeman Stadium against Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets.
