On Friday, March 28, former Halifax County High School standout Shamya Hankins’ current college team, the Virginia State Trojans, lost 10-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Bowie State Bulldogs.
The game took place at BSU Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Bulldogs this season.
The Trojans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 12 p.m. at LU Softball Complex against Lincoln Lions.
