On Thursday, March 27, former Halifax County High School standout Colin Mabe’s current college team, the Hampden-Sydney Tigers, won 8-2 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins.
The game took place at Ty Cobb Ballpark – Wurdeman Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Marlins this season.
The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 12 p.m. at Jim Barnett Park against Shenandoah Hornets.
