On Friday, March 7, former Halifax County High School standout Kamyria Woody-Giggetts’ current college team, the Virginia Cavaliers, lost 8-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Virginia Tech Hokies.

The game took place at Tech Softball Park. This was their first matchup against the Hokies this season.

The Cavaliers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m. at Tech Softball Park against Virginia Tech Hokies.
