On Friday, March 21, former Halifax County High School standout Kamyria Woody-Giggetts’ current college team, the Virginia Cavaliers, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the California Golden Bears.

The game took place at Palmer Park. This was their first matchup against the Golden Bears this season.

The Cavaliers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 2 p.m. at Palmer Park against California Golden Bears.
