On Monday, Feb. 24, former Halifax County High School standout Kamyria Woody-Giggetts’ current college team, the Virginia Cavaliers, won 10-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Longwood Lancers.
The game took place at Palmer Park. This was their first matchup against the Lancers this season.
The Cavaliers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 1:30 p.m. at Palmer Park against Cornell Big Red.
