On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Halifax County High School standout Kamyria Woody-Giggetts’ current college team, the Virginia Cavaliers, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Penn Quakers.

The game took place at Palmer Park. This was their first matchup against the Quakers this season.

The Cavaliers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 1:30 p.m. at Palmer Park against Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens.
