On Saturday, March 1, former Halifax County High School standout Kamyria Woody-Giggetts’ current college team, the Virginia Cavaliers, won 18-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Seton Hall Pirates.
The game took place at Palmer Park. This was their second matchup against the Pirates this season.
The Cavaliers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 4 p.m. at Palmer Park against Hofstra Pride.
