On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Halifax County High School standout Shamya Hankins’ current college team, the Virginia State Trojans, lost 9-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the UVA Wise Cavaliers.
The game took place at Bill Gatton Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Cavaliers this season.
The Trojans’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 2:35 p.m. at Bill Gatton Softball Field against UVA Wise Cavaliers.
