On Saturday, April 5, former Halifax County High School standout Shamya Hankins’ current college team, the Virginia State Trojans, won 5-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Bluefield State Big Blue.
The game took place at Graham Recreation Park. This was their second matchup against the Big Blue this season.
It was the last Virginia State Trojans’ game this season
