On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Bassett High School standout Jade Hylton’s current college team, the Virginia Cavaliers, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens.
The game took place at Palmer Park. This was their first matchup against the Fightin’ Blue Hens this season.
The Cavaliers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1:30 p.m. at Palmer Park against Penn Quakers.
