On Saturday, March 1, former Halifax County High School standout Kamyria Woody-Giggetts’ current college team, the Virginia Cavaliers, won 17-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Hofstra Pride.

The game took place at Palmer Park. This was their first matchup against the Pride this season.

The Cavaliers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 1:30 p.m. at Palmer Park against Hofstra Pride.
