On Saturday, March 22, former Halifax County High School standout Kamyria Woody-Giggetts’ current college team, the Virginia Cavaliers, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the California Golden Bears.
The game took place at Palmer Park. This was their second matchup against the Golden Bears this season.
The Cavaliers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 23 at 1 p.m. at Palmer Park against California Golden Bears.
