On Tuesday, March 18, former Halifax County High School standout Kamyria Woody-Giggetts’ current college team, the Virginia Cavaliers, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the George Mason Patriots.

The game took place at Palmer Park. This was their first matchup against the Patriots this season.

The Cavaliers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 5 p.m. at Palmer Park against California Golden Bears.
