On Tuesday, March 4, former Halifax County High School standout Kamyria Woody-Giggetts’ current college team, the Virginia Cavaliers, won 2-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Longwood Lancers.
The game took place at Palmer Park. This was their second matchup against the Lancers this season.
The Cavaliers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 6 p.m. at Tech Softball Park against Virginia Tech Hokies.
