On Wednesday, Feb. 26, former Halifax County High School standout Colin Mabe’s current college team, the Hampden-Sydney Tigers, won 17-5 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the NC Wesleyan Battling Bishops.
The game took place at Bauer Field. This was their first matchup against the Battling Bishops this season.
The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 27 at 4:15 p.m. at Ty Cobb Ballpark – Wurdeman Stadium against Mary Washington Eagles.
