On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Bassett High School standout Hunter Whitlow’s current college team, the Averett Cougars, lost 12-8 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Greensboro Pride.
The game took place at Ted Leonard Park. This was their first matchup against the Pride this season.
The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 3 p.m. at Ted Leonard Park against Greensboro Pride.
