Police Department Promoters Four Officer

City of Danville issued the following announcement on Sept. 1

Police Chief Scott Booth promoted four officers to the ranks of captain, lieutenant, sergeant and corporal in a ceremony held Tuesday in the City Council Chambers. The promotions were effective today.

The officers promoted were:

David Whitley to captain.
Samuel Bray to lieutenant.
Dustin Shively to sergeant.
Jonathan Masi to corporal.
