Averett at a Glance: Averett men's golf looks to pick up where it left off in the spring, when the Cougars spent most of the spring 2021 season ranked in the top 25 and finished at No. 14 in the final Bushnell/Golfweek poll in April. In August, the Cougars earned a No. 17 national ranking in the Bushnell/Golfweek Preseason Poll and were tied for No. 20 in the latest poll. Although Averett's "B Team" made its debut earlier this week, this is the opening event for the Cougars. For more on the Cougars' season, watch the fall preview video.
