County of Pittsylvania issued the following announcement on Jan. 6
During Tuesday night's reorganizational meeting, three new Board members were sworn into office and a new Chairman and Vice-Chairman were appointed. After winning November elections, , Tim Chesher (Dan River, left), Darrell Dalton (Callands-Gretna, center) and Jessie Barksdale (Banister, right) were each sworn into their new positions before the meeting.
The Board also appointed Tunstall District Supervisor Vic Ingram as Chairman and Barksdale as Vice-Chairman.
