Willis Gap Community Center, 144 The Hollow Road, Ararat, VA 24053 has an open Jam every Friday Night, 7 pm - 10 pm. Just minutes from Meadows of Dan (Primland Resort), Mount Airy NC, (Mayberry), and the Blue Park Way. Mr. Otto Hiatt, founder, and director of the jam plays the large Base. The Jam has been going for over 21 years. Willis Gap Community Center is available for rent to families, community, and church functions. To rent the community center, contact Ms. Mary Dellenback Hill at 276-251-9906. Come out and visit the Willis Gap Community Open Jam -- Family friendly! Bring your friends and neighbors for good music, food, 50/50 drawing, DANCING IS PERMITTED. SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY AT ITS BEST!!! Kitchen opens at 6:00 PM - hotdogs, chili, chips, candy and soft drinks.
