Census Bureau: More men than women in Halifax in 2020

Of the 1,545 people living in Halifax in 2020, 46.1 percent (712) were women and 53.9 percent (833) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Southside VA News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 161. In the 65 and over age range, there were 235 females and 137 males.
