Each year, older individuals fall victim to some type of financial scam. During the past two years, an FBI study showed adults over the age of 65 were scammed losing an average of $9,175. This report also estimated that the total of all the money scammed from individuals 65 and older was over $1 billion. So how do you prevent this from happening to you, a relative, or friend? Senior Services is providing an opportunity for individuals to learn how scammers are being successful. We have three speakers that will talk and demonstrate different scams and how to make sure you do not fall into the scammers trap. Pre-registration is required.
