Sewer Construction Update
Chatham – C.C. Construction, Inc. will contine work for the Phase 1D-2A: Route 137 – Morton Road Sewer Extension Project (1D-2A) as outlined below. N&M Excavating LLC will commence work for the Crowell Road Phase 2 & Chatham Fish Pier Infrastructure Project (Crowell Road Phase 2 & CFP) as outlined below.
Work for the week of October 17th – October 21st: 1D-2A:
- Continue pump station work at Pump Station #3 (Meetinghouse Road)
- Continued sewer work is expected to begin on Morton Road. Please note that Morton Road will be closed to thru traffic with local traffic access only.
- Contractor will be mobilizing equipment to Crowell Road and prepping for sewer work. Detour will be in place. Portion of Crowell Road will be closed between Stony Hill Road and Tip Cart Drive, and Lake Street will be closed. Traffic will be detoured via Tip Cart Drive to Barcliff Avenue to Old Harbor Road to Orleans Road to Stony Hill Road.
- Tuesday (10/18) – No detour (one lane alternating traffic)
- Wednesday (10/19) – Detour in place morning only, ending at noon
- Thursday on for several weeks – detour in place

Roads will be passable at the end of each day. Police Details and Contractors will work with residents to ensure their needs for access are addressed.
Police Details and signage will be in-place to assist motorists in reaching their destination.
Normal work hours are 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday to Friday, weather permitting, unless otherwise noted.
