After the iron industry moved away from the area, residents of Fayerdale went from mining to 'shining. Join a ranger to learn about the history of moonshining, and how the residents of Fayerdale used Stuart's Knob to provide for their families. This trail does have some slippery slopes, so please wear proper footwear and wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty.
