On Thursday, March 6, former Halifax County High School standout Colin Mabe’s current college team, the Hampden-Sydney Tigers, won 16-0 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Mary Baldwin Fighting Squirrels.
The game took place at John Moxie Memorial Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Squirrels this season.
The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 12 p.m. at Ty Cobb Ballpark – Wurdeman Stadium against Averett Cougars.
