On Saturday, March 1, former Halifax County High School standout Trinity Martin’s current college team, the Virginia Tech Hokies, won 6-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Penn State Nittany Lions.
The game took place at Moyer Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Nittany Lions this season.
The Hokies’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 1 p.m. at Moyer Sports Complex against James Madison Dukes.
