Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
Visit the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research's atrium between now and Tuesday, December 14 [from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday] to vote for wreaths with a donation and to enjoy the festive ambiance! The Chamber designed this wreath and donations will go to House of Hope, Danville's homeless shelter.
Also, join us at the after-hours open house on December 14 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. that’s sure to put you in the holiday spirit while supporting United Way and area nonprofits.
