There were 827 white students enrolled in Danville City Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 10.9% less than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Danville City Public Schools District welcomed 5,580 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, white students comprised 14.8% of the student body to be the second most represented ethnicity in the school.
