33 percent of applicants to Averett University-Non-Traditional Programs were admitted for fall 2018

At Averett University-Non-Traditional Programs, 88 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 59 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Danville enrolled 612 students in fall 2018, including 292 in undergraduate and 320 in graduate programs, data shows. 17.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Virginia.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (41 percent) and Black or African American (35 percent).

The school admitted 33 percent of the 18 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 83 percent enrolled.
