The Series: Averett is 3-7 all-time against Randolph-Macon dating back to the 1988-89 season. Randolph-Macon won last year's meeting 68-54 against a depleted Averett roster on Dec. 31, 2021 in Ashland, Virginia. The Cougars had won the previous two matchups during the 2015-16 and 2016-27 seasons.
